Pros: Well Built, Comfortable "Bought one of these about 4 months ago and have loved it. Mix of man made routes and natural routes and this bike soaks them all up. Left the full sussers in the garage and just used this. The lefty fork is great, 1x11 drivetrain has got me up everything and the bike has loads of grip. Run 15psi in the tyres and the bike is smooth enough on the trails that I don't really miss the full suspension bikes. I was apprehensive with the lower end brakes on the bike, but these have had loads of power, never felt under braked.
Downsides. The trans x dropper is probably the worst OEM item i've ever had on a bike, absolutely no place on a £2k bike. Got rid of that fairly quickly, it was an insult to their customers that Cannondale specced it, and they should probably fire whichever bean counter decided to put such a cheap and nasty component on a higher end hardtail bike. It was my first go with a SRAM rear derailleur, and I found that I got a got quite a lot of chainslap, which was surprised as i've not had that with Shimano for ages. Put a cheap chainstay protector on and the noise has gone away. "
